The ACLU just put out an article stating that President Bush is asking to expand the power granted within the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to account for advances in technology. ACLU representative Caroline Fredrickson states that
“Hidden in this bill is a disturbing provision that would give complete immunity - from criminal prosecution as well as civil liability - for the telecom companies
