Hillary Leads in Iowa

Hillary Clinton took the lead from John Edwards in an Iowa poll over the weekend. Over the summer she and husband Bill Clinton have made a number of campaign trips to Iowa. Obama and Edwards remain within striking distance. Clinton trailed both other leading Democrats in the last poll, which was taken during May.

This new lead in a key state coincides with two other victories for Clinton. In Q3 she raised more cash than either of her competitors in the last quarter, taking the lead from Barack Obama. And, just last week she garnered the endorsement of a retired Army General.

This is a nice turn of events for Clinton, since the Iowa caucuses will soon begin the series of state nominating contests.

If you hope there is an America, the political focus needs to be on eliminating excess spending by the Congress, no matter the political party that controls it!

The 2007 budget is $2.7Trillion! The 2000 Budget was $1.7!!!
One third is from individual taxation! Eliminate BOTH through eliminating the TAX!
