I just came across a small article displaying the stats of Ron Paul’s fundraising efforts last quarter. The numbers have been reported elsewhere, so there was nothing surprising there (other than the fact that of the $5M raised, the average donation was $98). I did notice, however, the name of Mitt Romney’s largest benefactor… Mitt Romney. Of the $18.5M that he raised, Romney himself contributed $8.5M.
