Former Clinton supporter and one-time donor Peter Paul recently released a video to get the word out about what he believes is proof that Hillary is corrupt. Back in 2000 Paul (not to be confused with GOP candidate Ron Paul) threw a support party for Clinton to support her in her campaign for New York Senator. The proof he offers is a clip of Hillary thanking him for staging a fund raiser.
While not strong evidence, the video has become one of the most popular on both YouTube and Google Video. Its certainly sensational and is having an effect, but there really isn’t much substance to Paul’s claims. He spends as much time talking about himself as he does about Clinton. He’s basically making a lot of noise over a deal gone bad. I don’t know what the truth of the situation is, but in my mind this is more of a reflection on Peter Paul than Hillary Clinton.
