I’ve read articles about Rudy Giuliani’s shadiness, we now have confirmed evidence. In a radio ad Giuliani makes the point that socialized medicine is less effective than our current free market system with the following statement
I had prostate cancer five, six years ago. My chance of surviving prostate cancer — and, thank God, I was cured of it — in the United States? Eighty-two percent. My chance of surviving prostate cancer in England? Only forty-four percent under socialized medicine.
Several people have questioned Rudy’s statistics and come up with entirely different numbers. When confronted, Giuliani stated that this ad will not be pulled. Is this the behavior that we want from our President?
Rudy thinks that he’ll get away with this. He thinks that any consequences will be small enough that its easier to keep running his lying ad. The mainstream media has caught the story, I hope they DO something with it. Like question him about this in an on camera interview. I’m not the only one.

lol yeah, was kinda ridiculous when he gave those stats, but Idk if socialized medicine is any better or worse that what we currently have. Perhaps leaving it as a free market (capitalist) setting it sets the price naturally
Socialized medicine is not better than what we have in the United States of America. Do not believe all the hype from the socialist media. As a Navy Corpsman I saw socilized medicin in many differnt countries. It is substandard.
Funny how the statistics from the world health orginization has Moraco ahead of the U.S. in medicine. It is a lie. I have been to Maroco. It is backwards compaired to the U.S.
If you want socilized medicine so bad, go to any other country where it is not working so hot and leave the cutting edge American system alone.
The reasion our infant mortality numbers are higher than theses other countries is they have criteria for a live birth. Some countries the baby has to be alive for at least 24 hours … some countries even up to a year before that birth counts as a live birth.
In the U.S. if a baby is born with any sign of life, at any stage of developement it is counted as a live birth. We have the highest rate of sucess of saving babies that would die in any other country … but our STATISTIC is higher for infant mortality because we count EVERY LIVE BIRTH.
Don’t believe every this you read in the news. Find our what is true and what is not. There is a reasion that really sick people come from Canada to the U.S. to have surgery that they can’t get in time to save their lives under a socilized system
America is not now and should never be a socilized nation.
