In the latest bout between Mike Gravel and NBC, Gravel vowed to answer the same questions as the other candidates in live web cast. He also garnered some serious support. After crying corporate censorship Gregory Chase offered NBC $1M in either advertising or cash outright to allow Gravel to appear with in the televised debate. Not only that, he’s also offered $25k to the individual that posts the most popular Gravel video on YouTube. NBC apparently wasn’t interested because there was no response, but Chase did manage to get some major press coverage for both himself and his candidate, including an interview on NPR’s All Things Considered. Such fanatical support will definitely help Gravel, but will it be enough? I’ll stand by my earlier prediction. One thing that did catch my eye though, Chase has also said that he likes Ron Paul, though he hasn’t offered the same amount of public support for Paul.
