Colorado Congressman and Republican hopeful Tom Tancredo has announced that he won’t seek reelection for his congressional seat. When questioned he said that he’s accomplished all that he’s going to in that office, that he’s tired of the commute, and that he wants to spend more time with his grandchildren. “You have to have a fire in your belly to do this, to get on that plane every week.” That’s all fine and good, but why then is he still in the presidential race? Wouldn’t that require a similar fire in the belly?
