If you’re keeping up with the race to the Presidency then you’ve no doubt noticed that Mike Huckabee has received some negative press for his record of pardons. Recently it has come out that in 1998, Huckabee’s 18 year old son David mutilated a dog while he was working at a summer camp. No charges were ever filed. After reading this I did some searching on David Huckabee, and it turns out that he’s had some other negative press.
Weapons charges, questionable business dealings, pet mutilation, that’s quite a list. Keep in mind that this is all happening while dad is under public scrutiny. Its hard to imagine that Mike Huckabee didn’t expect this news to come out, which begs the question, why is he not answering? But then, it seems that Mike is digging his own hole with statements of homosexuality.
I knew about his atrocious record of governorship in Arkansas and his statements about homosexuality - being an ordained Baptist Minister he’s surely not showing the forgiveness, love, and understanding a man of the cloth should show - but I hadn’t heard about his son’s indiscretions - the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree does it.

Idk if you can keep a dad accountable for the actions of his son..unless he was real young…but he should definitely have planned for this. It’s comical though how people can still believe emphatically that gays shouldn’t marry or have all the rights of ’straight’ people. I’m straight and have a great gay friend. I think all the candidates live in a land of bs honestly.
Huckabee is not going to be the republican candidate. He is who the democrats and the media want as an oponant because he has no chance of winning. The is the only reasion Huckabee is rising in the polls. The media is giving him all the attention it can to try and push into the nomination.
It will not work. After all the dust clears the nomination will be Rudy because he can beat the Hildabeast.
I am much more conservative than Ruddy but I believe Rudy understands radical islamic terroist desire to kill us no matter what. I also do not believe he would try and turn America into a socilist nation.
This election will come down to a choice between socilizm and America a the Constitution. And it will also come down to who will actually defend up aginst radical islamic terrorist who have been at war with us for at least 20 years and were imbolden by years of the U.S. doing nothing in respons to attacks … up until they hit us at home and we hit back hard.
America went back to sleep afer 9/11. America started believing the media … but not all of America. There are still enough of us out there who understand that radical islam hates anyone who is not like them and believe Alah gives them permission to kill anyone (including moderate muslems) who does not believe in Shiria law.
That is what this 2008 election will be about … socilism and terrorisim.
Huckabee is just who the democrats want… not who the republicans and the country wants. And we sure do NOT WANT HILLARY.

I think you’re right, I don’t see how on earth Huckabee can win. He’s high in the polls, but he’s making two mistakes that I believe will hurt. First, he’s addressing these messages about his family. Even if no one has asked him yet (which strains the imagination), he knew this was going to come out, so why did he no proactively deal with it? And, he continually places his religion square in the middle of his campaign message. I don’t think that’s helping his cause.
